Job summary

Langham Logistics, Inc seeks a Warehouse Quality Representative for the Life Science Division on the 2nd shift (12pm-8:30pm) in Whiteland, IN. You will perform QC checks, support discrepancy investigations, and ensure accurate inventory management in a GMP warehouse.

Responsibilities include collaborating with departments, maintaining client communications, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in Quality Control or related field within a GMP facility.
• Forklift experience a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC checks on all incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.
• Gather information to determine if a shipment has a discrepancy.
• Ensure accurate inventory management by dropping materials into deviation accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on discrepancies or questions for deviating material.
• Assist the Quality Manager with projects and initiatives.
• Maintain proper client communication regarding quality issues according to SOPs or Client Quality Agreement.
• Perform inventory counts, identify errors, and communicate with stakeholders to support case management.

Summary

The Quality Representative contributes to meeting Langham Logistics goals of exceptional Client service, quality,processimprovement,andprofitabilitybyperformingthefollowingtasks:

• Ensuring accurate shipping and receiving by performing QC checks on all incoming and outgoing materials;


• Gathering all applicable information to determine if a shipment has a discrepancy


• Ensuring accurate inventory management by ensuring materials are dropped into deviation accurately


• Collaborate among departments on discrepancies or questions for deviating material


• AssistingtheQualityManagerwithprojects;


• Ensuring proper Client communication as it relates to Quality issues according to the SOPs and/or the Client Quality Agreement.


• Performing accurate inventory counts, identifying and tracking errors, and communicating with external and internal stakeholders to support case management.

Education and Experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work is performed in a warehouse/office/external environment with multiple zones of varying temperature: frozen, refrigerated, controlled room temperature, and environmental. Physical movements including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily work routine. Will be working on concrete in a warehouse environment (subject to heat and cold).
