Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Houston is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Quality Coordinator at our Houston facility. You will oversee pallet repair operations, apply quality standards, and act as the primary QA resource for the shift.

• Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
• Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
• Participate in quality audits.
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Warehouse Quality Coordinator at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas.

Manufacturing and Construction positions pay weekly. Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Equipment & Products

• Products Being Handled: Pallets
• Equipment: Hammer, Prybar and Power Tools such as: Nail Gun, Grinder, Saw

Roles And Responsibilities For Pallet Repair Operators

• Will use a pneumatic nail gun, powered saw, and other powered/hand tools to repair or assemble pallets
• You will be placing pallets on repair table, removing defective boards, replacing with new boards and securing boards into place.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years or more in Manufacturing or fast paced warehouse preferred
• Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
