Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Houston, TX is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Quality Coordinator at our warehouse facility. The role focuses on applying quality requirements and leading pallet repair operations to ensure product integrity.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, use QA software and MS Office, and support continuous improvement through audits, reporting, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing or fast-paced warehouse preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain quality requirements and standards in development and manufacturing.
• Serve as the primary QA resource to supervisors for problem identification and improvement.
• Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
• Report quality issues, trends, and losses to management.
• Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Warehouse Quality Coordinator at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas

Manufacturing and Construction positions pay weekly

• Hourly Pay $18.00 per hour

Roles And Responsibilities For Pallet Repair Operators

• Will use a pneumatic nail gun, powered saw, and other powered/hand tools to repair or assemble pallets
• You will be placing pallets on repair table, removing defective boards, replacing with new boards and securing boards into place.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years or more in Manufacturing or fast paced warehouse preferred
• Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Skills in math, personal computers, and spread sheets
• Ability to follow documented procedures and standards

• Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
• Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures
• Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses
• Participate in quality audits
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned
