Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX to keep our automated and manual warehouse equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, assist and monitor outside contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and solve mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor work by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with all guidelines.
• Monitor grounds and building systems.
• Operate equipment and obtain certification if required at the location.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

• Hourly Pay $24.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
