Ryder in Shakopee, Minnesota is hiring a Quality Inspector to join our warehouse team in a GMP-conscious facility. The role focuses on verifying finished packaging codes, inspecting products for quality issues, and ensuring compliance with FDA/USDA standards while supporting safe, efficient operations.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (12:30pm–9:00pm), weekly pay, paid training, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Formación

• Associate's Degree preferred; High school diploma required.
• Experience in a food-grade facility.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned

• Hourly Pay $22.50 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 when working evening shift
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm

Requirements
