Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Quality Auditor/Clerk in Hagerstown, Maryland. This position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. You will be part of a team ensuring accurate warehouse operations, data entry, and reporting using the site’s WMS system.

The role requires at least 1 year of clerical or warehouse experience and strong communication skills. Shift is Third Shift (C) Sunday-Tuesday 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with every other Wednesday 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
• 1+ year forklift experience preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Using the location's WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
• Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.

• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to third shift

Requirements

• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
