Job summary

Acme Construction Supply Inc. in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for our warehouse. You will ensure orders are picked and packaged accurately before delivery and keep detailed records of order errors to help identify and solve recurring issues.

Responsibilities include selecting, packing, staging, and inspecting products, while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy. The role requires attention to detail and efficient teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must have good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in systems such as Solar Eclipse, Innovo, etc.
• Ability to interact with coworkers, customers and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of safety in the warehouse and demonstrates safe work practices.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in performance of order filling duties when required; RF machinery usage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists with material handling in the warehouse as needed.
• Efficiently pulls and prepares customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms; stage for review.
• Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.
• Performs duties in a manner that meets customer service standards.
• Wrap orders when necessary; unload inbound shipments safely.
• Move product to bin locations and stack/store appropriately.
• Review outbound orders for accuracy and quality.
• Move product from staging onto delivery vehicles or customer vehicles.
• Repack orders as required and report variances.
• Ensure repack area stocked, track inventory, and keep work area organized.
• Document product types, sources, and remaining damaged product.
• Provide input for improvements to the quality control program.
• Promote and observe safety procedures; maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
