Job summary

Acme Construction Supply Inc. is seeking a Material Handler at the Amarillo, TX location. The role focuses on fulfilling orders, inventory maintenance, loading/unloading trucks, and stock replenishment.

You will support kitting, labeling, palletizing, and safe operation of warehouse equipment. The candidate should have at least 1 year in material handling or warehousing, familiarity with RF devices, forklift experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in material handling or warehousing.
• Experience with RF devices is a plus.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills in English to interpret orders and labels.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Locate material and pull orders using RF/warehouse procedures.
• Unload products with forklift and hand loading; store correctly.
• Check in incoming product against purchase orders.
• Maintain order pulling and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare products for staging; label, palletize, wrap.
• Assist with kitting for custom non-stock orders.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, pallet jack).
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Assist will-call load/unload; help with returns.
• Participate in cycle counts and training as assigned.
