Job summary

Highline Warren in Missouri is seeking a warehouse associate to safely operate forklifts and move materials within a fast-paced facility. You will pull orders, process paperwork, and assist with shipping while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to PPE rules and safety guidelines.

The role requires basic PC skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read orders and labels. A forklift license is required, and a license or certification is preferred for heightened responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Operate a computer— basic PC proficiency; (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and reporting software).
• Accurately multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems.
• Wear/use required PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Learn and effectively operate equipment and work processes in accordance with standard operating procedures, including attention to detail and accountability.
• Conduct required quality checks and tests; visibly inspect equipment to detect problems and make adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks by securing material prior to handling or storing and by operating at reasonable speeds and control.
• Safely pull, process, and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures, and parts.
• Responsible for shipping, pulling orders, and completing required paperwork.
• Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas.
• Monitor machinery and equipment operation to ensure product meets performance specifications and notify supervisor of quality issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
