Job summary

Highline Warren in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to operate forklifts, manage inventory, and move goods using the company’s WMS. You will load/unload trailers, document weights, and maintain a safe workspace while supporting continuous improvement and teamwork.

The role requires physical fitness, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work Monday through Friday with overtime as needed in a busy warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license through Highline Warren.
• Experience with material handling machinery and warehouse operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely use powered industrial trucks and other machinery to transport materials.
• Use WMS to accurately record movement of materials and products.
• Load and unload trailers, shelves, racks, and pallets.
• Inventory materials and products accurately.
• Record weights on tags, labels, and production schedules.
• Complete daily safety check sheets on equipment and fuel/battery levels.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce costs or increase productivity.
• Communicate with supervisor and colleagues about important matters.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Demonstrate punctual attendance at the work location.
