Job summary

This hands-on role requires collaboration across operations, quality, and logistics to solve problems, reduce variation, and implement sustainable process improvements. Travel up to 10% within the US for customer visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, supply chain, operations, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments.
• Experience with statistical analysis, quality tools and root cause analysis techniques.
• Experience using Microsoft Office for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of glass manufacturing fundamentals and potential failure modes.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to investigate and resolve plant and customer quality concerns through structured problem-solving.
• Work as a team to reduce sources of variation in manufacturing and logistics processes.
• Review audits and trend results to increase process value.
• Identify and support opportunities for process improvements to simplify and improve results and compliance.
• Manage and improve the plant's document control system.
• Drive a strong customer focus with timely, detailed responses to customer issues.
• Travel for customer visits, up to 10% within the US (primarily local).
