Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Centerville, IA is seeking a Warehouse Worker II to join the Operations team on the 1st shift. You will receive, store, and issue materials, maintain accurate inventory records, and support production floor needs.

This position requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to read blueprints or schematics when needed, plus basic handheld tool usage. You will operate a forklift, keep the work area clean and safe, and participate in general housekeeping and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Proficiency with handheld tools and other measuring devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count inventory, and record data manually or using a computer.
• Put correct inventory in correct bins.
• Pick correct parts from locations to be used on the floor.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor.
• Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly manner.
• Operate fork-truck.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
