Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Centerville, IA is seeking a Warehouse Worker II to support receiving, storing and issuing materials for our operations. The role involves inventory accuracy, bin management and on-floor parts handling, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The position requires the ability to read blueprints or schematics and operate a forklift, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. This is a first-shift, hourly role within a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to receive, store and issue materials
• Ability to count inventory and record data accurately
• Read and interpret blueprints or schematics is a plus
• Team-oriented and safety-conscious
• Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Complete general housekeeping duties
• Receive and count inventory, and record data manually or using a computer
• Put correct inventory in correct bins
• Pick correct parts from locations to be used on the floor
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
• Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly manner
• Operate fork-truck
• Perform other duties as assigned
