Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Shipping Worker II to prepare incoming and outgoing products for distribution at Centerville, Iowa. The role involves building boxes and pallets, prepping products for shipment, packaging with proper instructions, and using forklifts as needed.

You will also be responsible for inventory control, quality inspection, and basic data entry while maintaining a clean and safe work area. This is an hourly, non-exempt position within the Operations department.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Proficient with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Build OSB and cardboard boxes.
• Build pallets using hand and power tools.
• Prep products for shipment and wrap cases with instructions.
• May load cases with forklift; maintain clean workspace.
• Record shipment information in computer systems.
