Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a part-time Warehouse Worker at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA. You will deliver food, beverage, and other products throughout the venue in a fast-paced environment, while upholding safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, weekends and holidays.

• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math and counting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Transfers products and merchandise to and from the warehouse.
• Receive products, check quality and damages, and store delivered items properly.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Perform physical inventory as needed.
• Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and pack for shipping.

What will you do?

• Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
• Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise.
• Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Perform physical inventory as needed.
• Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift 30 pounds and move, and maneuver up to 165 pounds on a cart.
• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching during the entire length of the shift.
• Exposure to varying outdoor temperatures depending on the season.
• Exposure to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment
