Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Warehouse Porter role available in Rochester, NY! Join a strong and continuously evolving team helping to continue to grow our business. If you’re eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.

The Porter maintains a clean and organized warehouse following OSHA guidelines and Imperial Dade's standards.

The schedule is from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday; some overtime is required.

Pay rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour

Responsibilities

You will:

• Clean floors, walls, guardrails, and other surfaces in the warehouse and office areas
• Maintain the warehouse and offices in a neat and orderly fashion
• Operate forklift equipment to stack pallets
• Operate the trash compactor, floor scrubber, and cardboard bailer
• Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

You have:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience as a Porter in a warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills, and a positive, collaborative approach
• Strong work ethic
