Job summary

Fidelity Fulfilment in Utah is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to manage a team of operatives on a busy warehouse floor. You will drive accurate picking, packing and dispatch while upholding service levels and safety standards.

You will coach and develop staff, manage attendance, and partner with Inventory, Customer Service and Sales to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Team Leader or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics.
• Experience leading, coaching and motivating warehouse colleagues.
• Confident managing attendance and day-to-day issues.
• Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and health & safety awareness.
• Lean / continuous improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Warehouse Operatives on shift.
• Oversee receiving, picking, packing and dispatch activities.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Run daily team briefings and set priorities.
• Monitor productivity, quality and performance metrics.
• Manage attendance and address performance concerns.
• Assist with shift rotas and admin tasks.
• Maintain inventory records and correct storage of goods.
• Collaborate with Inventory, Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues.
• Identify process improvements and implement them.
• Ensure training is documented and safety practices followed.
• Support safety inspections and KPI achievement.

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and help deliver a safe, accurate and efficient fulfilment operation.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of your team, ensuring that orders are completed accurately and within agreed service levels. This is a practical leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible on the warehouse floor, supporting colleagues and finding better ways of working.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading, managing, coaching and developing a team of Warehouse Operatives.
• Overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently and within agreed client service levels.
• Conducting daily team briefings and communicating operational priorities clearly.
• Monitoring productivity, accuracy, quality and efficiency and addressing performance concerns.
• Managing colleague attendance and supporting the fair and consistent management of absence and performance.
• Helping to prepare shift rotas and complete associated administration.
• Supporting accurate inventory records, cycle counts and the correct storage of products.
• Working with the Inventory, Customer Service and Sales teams to resolve discrepancies and client concerns.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve processes and performance.
• Ensuring colleagues are properly trained and that training records are maintained.
• Promoting safe working practices and compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Supporting safety inspections, incident prevention and the achievement of operational KPIs.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics.
• Experience of leading, coaching and motivating warehouse colleagues.
• Confidence managing attendance, performance and day-to-day operational issues.
• Experience using a warehouse management system and other relevant technology.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to understand operational data and use it to make informed decisions.A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements and good working practices.
• Experience of continuous improvement or Lean working methods would be advantageous.
