Job summary

Delavan Holdings is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to supervise a team of warehouse associates in Alabama. The role focuses on storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders, while motivating the team to complete tasks accurately and on time.

You will support the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure safety compliance, and communicate company updates to the team to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years warehouse experience required; lead experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory software and warehouse databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Warehouse Associates to ensure daily responsibilities are carried out.
• Lead with empathy, compassion while following company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Complete diary logs into inventory.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and warehouse associates.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with Geneva Supply’s safety policies and procedures.
• The ability to effectively write reports in order to update the Warehouse Managers on the tracking of all orders and projection for future orders.
• Effectively problem solve issues that arise so that the warehouse associates can continue to be productive, ensuring orders are shipped on time.
• Must be a team player and have the ability to motivate others in a positive way.
• Any other duties as assigned by the warehouse leaders.
