Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Warehouse PIT Operator III in Brookshire, TX to support a fast-moving distribution operation. You will safely operate powered industrial trucks, load and unload materials, and use RF scanners and WMS to track inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of material handling or forklift experience.
• Proficiency with Crown equipment; familiar with Walkie Rider, stand-up, sit-down, slip sheet lift trucks.
• Valid driver's license mandatory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending.
• Experience using RF scanners and basic Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and solid math abilities.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in cold storage or warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of powered industrial trucks, including sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Efficiently transport, load, unload, and stack materials within high-density storage areas, including elevated racks.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to track inventory accurately and ensure data integrity.
• Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment, promptly report issues, and conduct basic maintenance to uphold safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.
