Job summary

Core-Mark Ypsilanti Warehouse is hosting a Job Fair for 2nd shift (2pm until finish) and 3rd shift (midnight) with Sunday–Thursday schedules. Starting pay is $18/hour, with incentives that can bring earnings up to $24/hour.

Duties include accurate picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while following safety and quality standards. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally, and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift (10–80 lbs).
• Comfort working in multi-temperature environments (cooler/freezer/dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick product and prepare orders for shipment observing safety and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to move work through the system.
• Work as a team member and perform duties to support the company's goals.
• Accurately pick and pack according to specs and use scanning equipment.
• Meet productivity and quality standards and help solve problems as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
