Job summary

Nintendo of America in North Bend, WA is seeking a full-time Security Specialist to safeguard personnel and property within the Real Estate department. This role supports shipping operations outside regular hours and requires strong incident response skills.

Shifts are Mon-Thu 5am-3pm, Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, or 2pm-10pm. A pre-employment drug screen is required. 3–5 years’ experience, HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of related experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, specialized training in security procedures or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain first aid and CPR/AED certification after hiring.
• Situational assessment and verbal de-escalation skills.
• Multitasking and communication skills for day-to-day activities.
• Strong verbal and written skills for reporting incidents.
• High level of attention to detail to detect unusual behavior or potential threats.
• Consistent and predictable attendance and punctuality for shift work.
• Meet physical/functional requirements: standing/walking/sitting; ability to work in warehouse or outdoor env. including weather.
• Must have valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize physical security and safety needs for personnel and property.
• Monitor the Security Operations Center using access control, video, and detection systems.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and threats as directed by post orders.
• Control, monitor, and grant access to controlled areas.
• Investigate alarms and intrusion systems.
• Manage access control and identification processes.
• Document activities and incidents per company standards.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols for deterrence and response.
• Collaborate with teams to manage access for shipping carriers per C-TPAT.
