Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL is seeking a Warehouse Person 1 to support receiving, storage and distribution of materials on the WKND A Shift (7a–7p) at Assembly Drive. You will complete required training, operate forklifts, and record pallet movements in the ERP system.

This role requires basic math and computer skills, reading simple prose, and basic reasoning. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Skills testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.

• Limited Working Proficiency: The ability to satisfy routine social demands and limited work requirements.
• Basic Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic training program in Employee orientation, cGMP, Safety, and PCI forklift licensing program.
• Maneuver a forklift and transport pallet loads safely throughout the plant.
• Record pallet movements electronically in the ERP system.
• Perform warehouse functions in the ERP system: Receiving to Stock, Inventory Transfer, WIP Move, etc.
• Assess and unload deliveries and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Overtime hours and weekends as required.
• Must be able to read and respond to emails.
• This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
• Adhere to PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies and attendance requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

• Complete basic training program in the following categories: Employee orientation, cGMP, Safety, and PCI forklift licensing program.
• Maneuver a forklift (either a standard electric "sit down" fork truck or a double reach "stand up" material handling truck) expediently, skillfully and safely while transporting full or partial pallet loads of material throughout the plant, and into/outof rack fixtures.
• Accurately record electronically, the movements of pallets of material.
• Able to perform, as a minimum, the following basic Warehouse functions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; Inspection, Receiving to Stock, Inventory Transfer, material Issuance to Work Order, Return to Stock, WIP (Work In Process) Move, Finished Goods Move.
• Assess and unload deliveries per applicable SOP's and work practices. Maintains housekeeping standards.
• Overtime hours and weekends as required.
• Must have the ability to read and respond to emails as required.
• This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
• Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

• Limited Working Proficiency: The ability to satisfy routine social demands and limited work requirements. The ability to read simple prose, in a form equivalent to typescript or printing, on subjects within a familiar context.
• Basic Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems that involve only a few concrete variables in standardize situations.

The hiring rate for this position is $19.52/hour ($16.00 base + 22% shift premium) plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
