Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a DC Performance Instructor to lead training, promote safety, and support daily warehouse functions at the Suffolk, VA distribution center.

The role emphasizes teaching best practices, equipment operation, and team development to drive performance. As the primary trainer, you will integrate safety into every shift, deliver new hire programs, and participate in special projects under DC leadership while remaining eligible for performance bonuses based on role

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Experience training others and leading safety initiatives.
• Experience operating powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, yard truck).
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements and procedures.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Proficient basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire and ongoing training as the primary department trainer.
• Promote a culture of safety and maintain safe working conditions.
• Teach best methods and job functions; manage routine tasks and special projects as assigned by DC leadership.
