Job summary

Pengate Handling Systems, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Parts Specialist to join our Parts team. You will help keep inventory accurate and moving by receiving, inspecting, and processing shipments in SAP, and by picking, packing, and shipping parts to customers and field technicians.

This fast-paced role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. You will maintain organized storage locations, handle returns, and support inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or parts experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments accurately.
• Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or overages and resolve discrepancies.
• Process purchase order receipts and inventory transactions in SAP.
• Pick, package, and ship customer and branch orders.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are properly packaged to prevent damage.
• Organize, label, and maintain warehouse inventory and storage locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform inventory replenishment and support accuracy initiatives.
• Distribute non-stock items to appropriate departments.
• Process customer and vendor returns according to procedures.
• Serve as initial contact for customers and vendors at the parts counter.
• Cut and assemble chains, hoses, and cables as needed.
• Press tires and complete light shop support tasks.
• Deliver parts to field technicians and customer locations.
• Assist with shipping equipment and operate shipping systems.
• Support additional warehouse and parts operations as assigned.

We’re looking for a motivated Warehouse Parts Specialist to join our Parts team and play a key role in keeping our inventory accurate, organized, and moving efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, verify, and accurately process incoming shipments.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with inventory or ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, or other shipping systems is preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or parts experience preferred.
• Experience within the material handling, construction equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment industries is a plus.

• Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
