Job summary

ACCESS in Medford, OR is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle daily warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, and delivering products with a box truck, and pulling pantries orders from stock.

Role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork, with responsibilities across loading, unloading, and assisting with food programs. A valid Oregon CDL not required; forklift/pallet jack certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ customer service experience
• Forklift and electric pallet jack experience or ability to obtain certification within 2 months
• Ability to obtain ServSafe food safety certification within 1 month from date of hire
• Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently
• Basic math and writing skills
• Good communication skills and teamwork demonstration
• Must be able to multitask with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Count and track all incoming inventory within the warehouse.
• Assemble and stage cases of food for pantries on pallets for delivery.
• Assist pantries and agencies in loading, delivering, and unloading orders with pallet jack and forklift as needed.
• Assist with picking up donated and purchased products and engage donors and vendors.
• Follow Oregon Food Bank and Health Department food safety regulations.
• File paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Set up and break down for food repack groups.
• Receive walk-up donations.
• Backup for Fresh Alliance drivers to pick up products at local stores.
• Assist with food programs as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
