Job summary

CHEP Plant Careers is seeking a Warehouse Forklift/Sorter to join our Jackson, GA team. The role involves sorting pallets, operating a forklift to move pallets, loading/unloading trucks, and adhering to safety protocols in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with industrial equipment.
• Proven forklift operation in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Strong focus on safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets as they are moved from loading docks to sort line/area.
• Operate forklift to move pallets, containers, and materials.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks or containers with pallets.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs during shifts; ensure proper placement and securement.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE daily.
