Job summary

IPG is hiring a Packer in our Operations department. This hourly position involves packing boxes, preparing products for shipment, and ensuring accuracy according to specifications.

You will work with machine operators to maintain output quality and assist with area coverage as needed. We value safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, offering a stable manufacturing environment, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities to grow within IPG.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate math and English written communication skills required.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs could be required.

Responsibilities

• Removes finished products from the machine, places product labels, packs item in bags and cartons, and places finished product in proper location as per specifications.
• Performs advanced quality checks and communicates with operator and supervisor to ensure product quality.
• Aids in the proper and effective operation of the machinery.
• Willing to assist in other areas of the plant, including covering lunches and breaks as required.
• Performs all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of lean manufacturing skills.
