Checker Distributors is hiring for a Day Shift Warehouse Packer in a stable, family‑owned environment with 75+ years in business. Starting pay is $17 per hour with annual reviews and potential growth to $22–$25 per hour for advanced roles.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm, with overtime as needed. Benefits include 2–4 weeks PTO depending on tenure, medical/dental/vision insurance after 90 days, a 401(k) match, paid holidays and a floating holiday after one year, and regular company

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or loading experience is preferred but not required.

Pay & Growth

• Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
• Annual performance reviews with typical increases of 3% or more (some receive 4–5%)
• With solid performance, team members can grow to $22 or up to $25 per hour if trained in positions that operate equipment

Day-Shift Schedules (Monday–Friday)

• Warehouse Packer – 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (1-hour lunch)

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of a fast-paced but organized warehouse that prides itself on same-day shipping. Depending on the role, you will pull, pack, or receive product using scanners, pallet jacks, and conveyors while maintaining accuracy and a clean, safe work area.

Physical Requirements

All warehouse positions require the ability to frequently lift and move packages up to 70 lbs, stand/walk/bend/reach throughout the shift, and maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or loading experience is preferred but not required — we will train the right attitude.

Warehouse Packer Description:

The Warehouse Packer is responsible for accurately packing, by hand, product orders while using a computer program.

• Accurately pack customers’ orders to ensure they are not damaged during shipping
• Achieve set productivity standards on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Affixes appropriate labels and packing lists
• Prepares appropriate shipping documents
• Ensure damage merchandise is handled through the proper procedures
• Remove completed orders by placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas
• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment to include general housekeeping warehouse duties
• Other duties as assigned

**All Warehouse positions must be able to frequently lift and move packages weighing up to 70 pounds, perform physical warehouse activities including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the shift, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality; previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or loading experience is preferred but not required.
