Job summary

OCI Alabama LLC in Decatur, AL seeks a warehouse/packing operations associate to coordinate daily shipping and packaging tasks and to support loading, unloading, and staging of materials. The role requires forklift experience, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.

You will operate packaging systems, maintain equipment, and complete required paperwork while enforcing DOT and IMDG labeling guidelines. A 12-hour rotating shift may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; forklift experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes; good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily tasks including shipping and packaging schedules.
• Offload and stage raw materials; load/offload trucks, containers, and rail cars.
• Operate, and maintain packaging systems and equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork and checklists; ensure DOT and IMDG labeling compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety/environmental rules.
• Liaise with drivers and contractors and manage access to the site as needed.
