Job summary

Royal Cup, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector (Level 2) in Birmingham, AL. You will play a key role in fulfilling customer orders, operating pallet jacks, and keeping a safe, organized warehouse.

Reporting to the Regional Warehouse Manager, this role requires attention to GMPs, accuracy, and teamwork. Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum basic reading and math skills.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks and RF scanning equipment.
  • Able to work 40 hours weekly, including 8-hour shifts.
  • Strong attention to safety and GMPs.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and review sales orders to determine items.
  • Operate powered pallet jack and reach truck to pick items.
  • Perform put-away and replenishment tasks.
  • Assemble pallets and ensure stability for fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Adhere to safety policies and GMPs.
  • May take on temporary tasks as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As aWarehouse Order Selector,you'll play an important role in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the Regional Warehouse Manager, this position is perfect for individuals eager to contribute to the fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized facility. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Retrieve and review sales order printouts to determine required items.
  • Skillfully operate a powered pallet jack to navigate the warehouse and select items from storage.
  • Perform put away / replenish functions utilizing a reach truck and a RF Scan gun.
  • Assemble custom pallets of products, ensuring they are stable, well-organized, and properly prepared for order fulfillment.
  • Consistently uphold a “tour-ready” standard by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Operate all warehouse equipment in strict compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Remain vigilant and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality standards, and food safety regulations at all times.
  • Take on temporary responsibilities as needed, which may include loading, unloading, receiving, product rotation, or other warehouse tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work 40 hours a week; 8-hour days or more (as needed) to meet demand.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply common sense in standardized situations.
  • Proficiency in basic reading, writing, and mathematics, including interpreting sales orders, safety instructions, and machine operating guides.
  • Comfortable performing basic computer functions, including data entry and bar code scanning, and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Certified or willing to become certified in hand jack operation (forklift certifications are a plus).
  • Solid work-based track record.
  • Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED)
  • 1+ years of experience operating a Walkie-Rider Pallet Jack used in picking, wrapping, loading, etc.
  • Prior experience working with the following:
    • Productivity (cartons per hour)
    • Quality (error-free)
    • Attendance policy expectations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements for extended periods (8+ hours per shift).
  • Capacity to lift, push, or pull items of varying weights, up to 52 pounds.
  • Flexibility to stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb as needed, including accessing products via rolling staircases or forklifts.
  • Comfortable working in environments with variable temperatures and near production machinery.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
