Job summary

Cheney Brothers in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Warehouse Selector, Non-Formula to join our team. You will select and move product from loading dock to warehouse and within racks, using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and tuggers to fulfill customer orders.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 60-100 lbs, and operating in multi-temperature environments. Training, safety, and adherence to company policies are essential for daily operations and timely shipping.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs depending on location.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Able to become EPJ certified within training period.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare supplies.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack and forklift.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Move products within multi-level racks to fill orders.
• Place stock on pallets from pick slots and rack locations.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if needed.
• Close out shift by securing equipment and paperwork.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
