Job summary

UNFI is seeking an Order Selector to pull customer orders in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will palletize orders and place them in correct locations, using Electric Pallet Jacks and following safety procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and safe operation of material handling equipment. Must be able to work Sundays and in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse practices and order selection is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with WMS or RF scanning is beneficial.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Identify pick locations and safely pick the items.
• Inspect assigned equipment for safety issues.
• Pick the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions.
• Place labels on the side of the cases.
• Shrink wrap and label with correct truck, stop and other required information.
• Stage pallets in the appropriate bay and build a stable pallet.
• Inform supervision of any safety threats or policy violations and keep area clean.
• Operate pallet jack/pushcart safely and efficiently.
