Job summary

UNFI is hiring for an Order Selection role in Joliet, IL. The position is full-time with pay starting at $22.95/hour plus shift differentials of $2.00/hr on Sundays and a $2.00/hr freezer premium.

Weekly pay and a full benefits package are offered, including 401K and health coverage. Responsibilities include operating jack equipment, selecting items, verifying UPCs, labeling, and building pallets while maintaining safety and HACCP/SQF guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds continuously.
• Work in a range of temperatures from -10 to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must have safety shoes; steel toes or composite toes on Day 1 of work.
• Good judgment with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned jack for safety.
• Enter information into productivity measures accurately.
• Identify correct pick locations and sequences per order.
• Picks correct items and quantities; checks UPCs/descriptions.
• Place pick labels on cases and ensure correct Master Case locations.
• Identify and report mis-located products.
• Shrink wrap and label pallets with required information.
• Stage pallets in appropriate bay; maintain clean work area.
• Operate pallet jack safely; report policy violations.
• Build stable, cubed pallets and park pallet jack after shift.
