Job summary

UNFI in West Sacramento is seeking an Order Selector to safely, accurately and efficiently pull orders within our warehouse. You will palletize the orders, shrink wrap the pallets and place them in the assigned locations. The role runs on a 4-day, 10-hour shift with overtime as needed; Sundays are a mandatory workday.

Starting pay is $23.25 per hour plus incentive pay. UNFI offers weekly pay, full benefits, PTO, 6 paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and associate

Qualifications

• Related warehouse, construction, or physical labor experience.
• Experience with electric pallet jack or reach lift required.
• Understanding of Safety guidelines and basic RF system functions preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 90+ pounds continuously.
• Must be ok with working in a refrigeration/freezer environment (32 to -10 degrees).
• Ability to understand and properly follow all selecting procedures and verbal instructions in your respective area.

Responsibilities

• Selects various grocery, perishable, frozen or repack products from warehouse stock.
• Reports adjustments to inventory counts, spoilage or damage to stock, location changes, and out of stocks.
• Transports product throughout warehouse via electric pallet jack.
• Responsibilities include maintaining order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage and maximum safety.
• Assists other department personnel in the performance of work activities when peak workloads require or during absences of division personnel.
• Performs duties in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies and procedures.
