Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Tarboro, North Carolina, is hiring Case Pickers to support our distributed warehouse network. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities to grow within a safe, team-focused environment.

The selected associates will operate pallet jacks and RF scanners, handle electronic repair parts, and rotate through a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:00pm) with a $0.50 shift premium and overtime available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must have adequate math skills.
• Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes.
• Meet and exceed established GMP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Picking product and case pick.
• Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.

• Hourly Pay: $19.50 per hour

• Overtime Pay: $29.25 hourly when working overtime

• Shift Premium: $0.50 per hour when working 2nd shift

• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm
