Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Case Picker in Morris, Illinois. The role offers a weekly pay schedule, benefits, and a pathway within a safety‑conscious warehouse environment.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm, with overtime on short notice. Training is provided, and the team emphasizes safety and continuous improvement in a clean, well‑run facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adequate math skills
• Able to read location and product codes
• Meet GMP requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with good time management

Responsibilities

• Picking product and case pick.
• Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.75 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour shift differential
• Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm, OT as needed, must be willing to work OT daily on short notice

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Must have adequate math skills
• Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
