Job summary

Gold Star Foods in Dallas, TX is hiring a Warehouse Order Selector to join our team. You will efficiently pick customer orders, safely operate an electric pallet jack, and follow Voice Pick instructions in a temperature-controlled environment.

This full-time role offers base pay of $22.00 per hour with incentive pay based on performance metrics. Shifts include Sunday and Monday-Thursday, with two selectors per shift; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack in a busy environment.
• Follow Voice Pick directions and headset instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Position Overview

This position is a critical support role for the Warehouse Team. The Order Selector will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting orders in a timely manner.

Principal Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders.
• Safely operate electric pallet jack in a face-paced warehouse environment.
• Select and palletize products using Vo collect technology.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
• Other duties and special projects as requested.

Required Skills

• Work in various warehouse environments including freezer, cooler and dry.
• Able to follow selection direction through headset (Voice Pick & Pick Label)
• Work overtime as required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and case-per-hour requirements
• Ability to listen, understand and respond to instruction
• Ability to operate within Standard Operating Procedures and follow OSHA guidelines
• High level of accuracy
• Work on your feet for 8-12 hours daily.
• Ability to frequently lift 15-55 pounds.
• Previous experience operating electric pallet jack and other warehouse technical equipment preferred

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Order Selecting: 1 Year (Preferred)
• Electric Pallet Jack: 1 Year (Preferred)

Shift Schedule

Sunday: Start time is 10:00 AM (Full time), two dry selectors

Monday through Thursday: Start time is 3:00 PM (Full Time), two dry selectors

(Part-time two selectors) Sunday 10 AM-630PM, Monday 3 PM-1130PM, and Wednesday 3 PM-1130PM

Cold Storage Warehouse environment includes sub-zero temperatures

Pay Rate

Base pay will be $22.00 per hour for full-time.

• Employees will also be eligible for incentive pay, which is based on performance percentage metrics.
