Job summary

Stowgroup in the United States seeks an Order Picker to support loading schedules and prioritize tasks using clear instructions. You will safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks, assist with inventory, and follow SAP/scan guidelines to replenish picking locations and packaging needs.

You will adapt to changing priorities, maintain cleanliness, and report shift activities while helping colleagues and driving continuous improvement in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks or similar equipment.
• 2+ years of order picking or warehouse experience required.
• Knowledge of warehouse layout and locations (Hall A & B, powder warehouse, picking area).
• Product knowledge, warehouse procedures and ability to use scanning equipment.
• Ability to estimate order volume to select appropriate packaging and knowledge of packaging requirements.
• Ability to use a scale and replenish pick locations.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from supervisor for loading schedule.
• Organize work by priority based on orders and written or oral instructions.
• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks to pick orders.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counting.
• Follow scan/SAP instructions for replenishment needs.
• Follow management instructions to improve methods and prevent damages.
• Check prepared orders and store completed orders in stock.
• Ensure overseas packaging complies with required standards.
• Adapt to changes in work priorities.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness; ensure regular cleaning by order pickers.
• Respect environmental guidelines and monitor safety practices.
• Report information to supervisors via end-of-shift report.
• Assist colleagues when needed.
• Request creation of new storage locations to avoid order splits.
• Check open transfer orders daily to ensure completion before loading.
• Transmit location data to supervisor for master data updates.
• Promote best practices among order pickers and propose improvements.
• Conduct 5S audits according to instructions.
