Job summary

stow Group is seeking a Material Handler – Order Picker for the 2nd shift at our United States facility. The role follows supervisor instructions and SAP/scan guidance to fulfill orders with accuracy and safety.

You will support productivity by organizing tasks, checking orders, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Responsibilities include inventory checks, 5S audits, and assisting teammates while adhering to company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks or similar warehouse equipment.
• 2+ years in order picking or warehouse work.
• Knowledge of warehouse layout (Hall A/B, powder warehouse, picking area) and packing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow SAP/scan instructions to manage replenishment and order accuracy.
• Organize work by priority and communicate with supervisors to improve productivity.
• Ensure completed orders are stored correctly and assist with inventory checks.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness and safety compliance across the shift.

The Order Picker receives instructions from the supervisor or warehouse support regarding the loading schedule. Based on the orders to be prepared, they organize work according to priority, while following oral and/or written instructions (recorded in SharePoint).

• Follows scan/SAP instructions indicating replenishment needs
• Follows management instructions to improve work methods and prevent complaints or damages
• Gives instructions to order pickers and takes initiative to improve productivity and avoid complaints
• Checks prepared orders
• Stores completed orders in stock
• Ensures overseas packaging complies with required standards
• Adapts to changes in work priorities
• Maintains order and cleanliness and ensures regular cleaning by order pickers
• Ensures compliance with safety rules and monitors safety practices
• Reports all relevant information to supervisors to enable performance reporting to management by completing the end-of-shift report (documenting activities performed during the shift)
• Assists colleagues when needed
• Requests creation of new storage locations to avoid order splits
• Checks open transfer orders (TOs) daily to ensure orders are completed before loading begins
• Transmits location data to the supervisor to ensure correct master data updates
• Assists with inventory and cycle counting
• Ensures best practices among order pickers and proposes improvement initiatives
• Performs the same tasks as order pickers, according to their job description, when availability allows
• Conducts 5S audits according to instructions

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, with a valid license preferred
• 2+ years of order picking or similar warehouse experience required
• Knowledge of warehouse layout and locations (Hall A & B, powder warehouse, picking area)
• Product knowledge
• Warehouse procedures
• Ability to use scanning equipment
• Ability to estimate order volume to select appropriate packaging
• Knowledge of packing requirements
• Ability to use a scale
• Ability to replenish pick locations
