Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk is hiring forklift operators for our Burlington, NJ facility. The role focuses on moving products throughout the warehouse using various material handling equipment and requires external qualifications.

Shift is 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Wednesday to Saturday, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Responsibilities include pulling routes, loading/unloading trucks, packing, scanning, and ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience (1 year) preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and wrap materials.
• RF scan gun experience required.
• Must be able to work overtime, including weekends.
• Must be able to read and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Use manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Perform picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting as applicable.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and system accuracy.
• Identify overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a safe work environment complying with TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
