What It's Like To Be An Order Picker

Typically working a four-day week from Monday to Thursday, second shift for 8-9 hours in a temperature-controlled warehouse (60-64°F). Experience with forklifts and walkie-riders is preferred but not mandatory.

Your responsibilities include handling cases of beer and other products weighing 50+ pounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness, pulling orders from computer-generated pick sheets, and preparing them for loading or staging. You will operate industrial equipment like walkie-riders and forklifts, with training provided. Voice-picking technology will assist in tracking tasks and locating products.

• Willing to learn and follow supervisor instructions.
• Efficient and flexible in a warehouse setting.
• Operate equipment safely after training and authorization.
• Strong commitment to safety and productivity.
• Capable of lifting, stacking, and moving products over 50 lbs.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment with some outdoor exposure.
• Ability to read and listen to work orders.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Complete assigned tasks and attend training sessions.
