Job summary

GPC is seeking a Warehouse Order Builder in Wisconsin to accurately pick and pack customer orders for timely delivery. The role requires operating a ride-on pallet jack, scanning inventory, and ensuring pallets are built to specification in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and prior warehouse experience. Lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods are required; great attention to detail and reliable teamwork are essential

Responsibilities

• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and move beverage products efficiently and safely.
• Use a handheld scanner to locate and verify inventory items.
• Accurately build and wrap pallets according to order specifications.
• Replenish returned merchandise into appropriate inventory locations.
• Assist with loading delivery trucks and staging outbound shipments.
• Provide prompt service to walk-in customers during pickups.
• Assist with warehouse receiving and unloading trucks.

Work Schedule

Enjoy a steady schedule: four 9‑hour shifts (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and an early‑finish half day (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) (Monday‑Friday).

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Order Builder

• Operate a ride‑on electric pallet jack to pick and move beverage products efficiently and safely.
• Utilize a handheld scanner to locate and verify inventory items.
• Accurately build and wrap pallets in accordance with order specifications.
• Replenish returned merchandise into appropriate inventory locations.
• Provide prompt and professional service to walk‑in customers during pickups.
• Assist in loading delivery trucks to ensure proper staging and dispatch of outbound shipments.
• Pick slow‑moving product orders in the mezzanine area.
• Assist with warehouse receiving and unloading trucks.

What Does it Take to be a Warehouse Order Builder?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience operating a ride‑on electric pallet jack is highly desirable (training may be provided).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Effective time management and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies.
