Job summary

Abbott Park, IL—This onsite role in the GES Global Engineering Services division leads maintenance warehouse operations, investment recovery, moving services and rigging. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and coordinate asset disposition to support safe, efficient service delivery across complex projects.

The supervisor works with engineering and facilities teams to maintain compliance with GMP, CAPA, FDA, DOT, and IATA, while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience in a medical device manufacturing operations warehouse or supply chain environment.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with inventory, asset disposition, and logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of maintenance warehouse and satellite locations.
• Oversee inventory audits and cycle counts; ensure accurate records.
• Coordinate replenishment to maintain readiness and optimize space.
• Lead moving services, office relocations, and interior logistics support.
• Oversee rigging operations and ensure safety compliance and proper planning.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations; hire and train staff.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Assist with budgeting, procurement, and cost-saving initiatives.
