Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based GES Global Engineering Services division seeks a Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory, material distribution, and alarm monitoring across Abbott Park. You will lead MOR inventory programs, optimize space and processes, and coordinate movers and riggers for moves and events.

You will manage staffing, budgeting, and compliance while driving efficiency, safety, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing and facilities environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in supply chain or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control and internal distribution.
• Experience developing MOR inventory programs and optimization.
• Experience managing service dispatch and maintenance coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of inventory within warehouse operations to support efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee receiving, storage, shipping, inventory control, and distribution.
• Maintain MOR inventory management including stock availability and replenishment.
• Develop inventory strategies balancing service levels and costs.
• Lead warehouse optimization and space utilization improvements.
• Ensure timely delivery of inventory and materials across Abbott Park.
• Oversee alarm monitoring and work order coordination for facilities.
• Manage workforce planning for logistics and operations.
