Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Abilene, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle daily shipments, packaging, and freight paperwork. You will palletize and deliver orders, assist with loading and unloading trucks, and help maintain accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include inspecting items for damage, labeling stock, and performing warehouse inventories. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in all weather and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Selects and prepares daily shipments including pulling orders, packaging, and freight/invoice paperwork.
• Palletizes and delivers orders to shipping area or designated disciplines.
• Loads and unloads trucks as necessary.
• Inspects items for damage; identifies shortages or defects.
• Packs, labels, and marks stock items for inventory control.
• Conducts onsite warehouse inventories and restocking.
• Resolves inventory discrepancies and documents material shorts.
• Ensures shipping/receiving documents are accurate and on time.
• Operates forklift and other equipment as required.
