Roadtex Transportation Service Center Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping, while managing inventory accuracy and staff performance.

You will implement efficient processes, supervise recruiting and training, and ensure safety, compliance, and high customer service standards. The role emphasizes data-driven reporting and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in logistics or supply chain.
• 5+ years of Warehouse Manager experience.
• Familiarity with WMS and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
• Ensure the warehouse layout optimizes space and operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages or excess.
• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.
• Schedule and supervise staff to ensure optimal performance and coverage.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards.
• Implement and enforce safety training programs for warehouse staff.
• Oversee the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to order processing or delivery.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyors.
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and staff productivity.
• Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to warehouse processes and procedures.
• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
