Job summary

You will oversee inventory control, audits, and process improvements to ensure accuracy and timely product flow. The role requires 5+ years in distribution with 3+ years in leadership, a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or Logistics, and strong coaching and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of distribution experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Industrial engineering, logistics or related areas.
• Preferred: 13+ years combined college education and work experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Hire & develop the management team and first level supervisors to create a leadership succession plan in the Facility.
• Drive health and safety initiatives.
• Maintain inventory control procedures and ensure accuracy of warehouse inventory.
• Audit receiving and stocking procedures to ensure policies are followed.
• Provide ongoing training to Inventory Control staff.
• Oversee release of products to vendors, other DCs, and corporate locations, with accurate paperwork.
• Research and resolve discrepancies noted.
• Ensure paperwork for each job function is accurate and timely.
• Lead continuous process improvement using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.
