Job summary

MRC Global is hiring for a warehouse/yard operations role responsible for pulling stock, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in accordance with OSHA and company policies.

The position emphasizes delivering material to customers, operating forklifts and cranes, and documenting inventory in the SIMS system. A CDL may be preferred, with a focus on safety and accuracy in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record; CDL preferred.
• Ability to learn MRC, federal, health, and safety regulations and MRC Global processes.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math and good reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customers on time and provide excellent customer service.
• Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks.
• Inspect material for MRC Global quality requirements.
• Maintain site inventory and assist in inventory audits.
• Stock and transfer material to shelves, bins, or racks.
• Mark materials with correct information.
• Package orders for shipping and delivery.
• Operate forklift, overhead crane, and heavy equipment as needed.
