Job summary

MRC Global is hiring for a warehouse/yard associate responsible for moving and stocking materials, servicing customer orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will unload, inspect, and store items, ensuring correct labeling and timely delivery with safety as a priority.

The role requires handling tools and equipment, operating a forklift or crane when needed, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas in line with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn company policies and safety regulations.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and DOT readiness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customers on time, providing excellent customer service.
• Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks.
• Inspect material for minimum MRC Global quality requirements.
• Maintain site inventory by assisting in inventory audits.
• Stock and transfer material, tools, and equipment to appropriate shelves.
• Mark material with correct identifying information.
• Transfer material to and from shops for modifications.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and package as required.
• Pull orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfers.
• Load onto trucks or packing areas using forklift or crane.
• Prepare documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air shipments.
• Enter inventory data into the SIMS system as needed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness in OSHA compliance.
