Job summary

Schneider Electric is hiring a Warehouse Operations Operator for a weekend shift in the United States. You will manage receiving, storage, order preparation and shipments with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, storage, inventory, and shipments.
• Perform self-controls to detect non-conformities and log entries.

Job description

Join our warehouse team and become part of a supply chain that delivers results every day. We're hiring a Warehouse Operations Operator (weekend shift) who's ready to roll up their sleeves, work safely, and help us fulfill orders with accuracy and efficiency.

What will you do?

• Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle.
• Applies strict warehouse working instructions and fixed operating procedures
• Comply with the health, safety and environment rules throughout the sector.
• Identify and express to the Team Leader (LWB3) any risks regarding health, safety, quality and environment, including reporting all incidents and near misses.
• Apply escalation process in case of any deviation (safety, environment, quality, performance)
• Know the recommended gestures to perform the standard operating modes. Suggest proposals to improve the operating mode.
• Link various operations according to a predetermined process: receiving, warehousing, inventory management, store outlets, line procurement
• Perform self-controls provided in order to detect non-conformities
• Operate appropriately to hazards
• Apply the procedures defined for the MPH
• Use computer resources available to save the entries and exits of the store

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Qualifications that will impact success are experience in a warehouse inventory environment; Microsoft Excel; good communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail; prior use of powered industrial trucks such as Genie lift, PIT equipment. Experience with barcode scanning systems, and Windows based computer knowledge.
• Prior SAP experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $22.50-25.00 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
